We’ve never had work done before and we’re glad that Stav and the team did our extension.

Everyone who came round were professional and really cared about the job, they were all a pleasure to have around the house. Any changes or issues that arose were sorted promptly and Stav and Scott were always available whenever we needed them. We would be more than happy to work with them again.

Stav is a trustworthy, highly competent and committed builder with a ton of experience. SER was recommended by our architect and based on their detailed response to tender (with precision to the specification, unlike some other builders quotes), coupled with Stav’s friendly, down to earth and open manner, I knew we’d found our builder.

Our project was complex, adding an additional floor to our house – three dormers, walk out terrace, wardrobe room, en-suite and main bedroom suite with oak beam vaulted ceiling. It took a lot of care, time, communication and a few moments of brainstorming to achieve the quality and high end finish we were seeking. When issues or unexpected glitches arose (which they do on any project), Stav and his team always found a solution and engaged us each step of the way; helping us keep the faith with a few laughs along the way too.

Not only would I recommend Stav and the whole SER team (he has a number of real superstar tradesmen on his firm!), I would have no hesitation in hiring them again for our next project, however big or small.

Post COVID we felt it time to live differently in our home of over twenty years. Following several tenders, I was immediately drawn to Stavros, not only because of his detailed and thorough quote but also his personable nature and ease of communication. I have not been disappointed. I have enjoyed working with ‘his boys’ who have really gone the extra mile. In addition to remodelling the kitchen and adding a large utility room they have also converted the garage into a beautiful workspace/ chill out area. The creation of a new garden area now links the main house to the garden room. We are really enjoying our new way of living thanks to Stavros and his team.

“WOW” the one word from almost every person that walks through our front door following our large extension and full house refurbishment. We absolutely love our new space and can’t thank all the S.E.R. Team enough for their hard work and commitment to delivering a home that we are now very proud of. Stav and his team made our tatty old bungalow into a beautiful 2-story home. We followed the progress of the build at weekly site meetings with Stav and the architect, which we always enjoyed. The whole team are skilled and professional and it’s now a great house to live in. We’d certainly recommend SER to anyone looking for a builder.

We cannot thank Stav and his team enough. They took on the task of extending and modernising our old house and they have done a fantastic job! They worked tirelessly, in all weathers, with such a friendly manner that we will genuinely miss them not being around anymore! Stav and his team built us a dormer loft conversion including 2 extra bedrooms and a bathroom. We couldn’t be more pleased with the standard of the work. Stav managed to build the dormer in such a way that we got extra headroom. The whole loft is amazing. All of stavs team and the various subtractors he uses are so talented and were so considerate to keep everything so clean given we were still living in the house and had a small baby. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, everyone who has seen our loft comments on how amazing the quality is. Thanks so much guys.

Scott, Stav and their team provided a professional and courteous service throughout the construction, and we are very pleased with the standard and quality of the finished work. The works were completed in line with the agreed programme and quotation, with any unforeseen changes agreed quickly and amicably. Such a professional service, I was made to feel completely at ease from the very begining SER took away all the stress from this experience and dealt with everything on my behalf but at the same time kept me up to date with all that was going. From the start – literally from day one – the team from SER were very proactive with our neighbours. They made a point of always making sure our neighbours were informed and happy. This set the tone and standard for the rest of the build. Whenever a discussion with a neighbour was needed, the various members of the SER team were unfailingly considerate and courteous. Communication was an obvious hallmark of SER’s approach, overall. Whenever we had a question or query, it was answered immediately. Stavros and Scott were always willing and free to talk things through with us and to share their expertise and knowledge. We felt we were in good hands throughout. Our WhatsApp group was very useful and became a hive of updates and arrival times. Above all, each member of the team was very easy to get along with and communicate with – good blokes one and all. They tended to work in pairs: one team worked on the foundations, another on the brickwork, another on the carpentry, etc. We got along with all of them – even the contractors. The standard of their workmanship was also very high and was also evident from the outset. We were very impressed with the thoroughness of the foundations work. It was then the same with the bricklaying, the woodworking, the finishing, everything. The team also worked very hard through the winter (skin peeling off fingers while laying the blocks) without complaint or delay. Punctuality and tidiness was also clear to see. The fact that our project was completed without incident and without any real problem is also testament to SER. We were lucky to find SER when we did and to get them to do our job. SER weren’t just our building company, they became like our family during the last 6 months. I don’t know where we’d be without their kindness, attention to detail and all round support.

We moved out of our house in April with a very ambitious 6 month deadline and moved into the shed at the bottom of our garden. This has been a high pressure build to get us back in before the winter and having moved in this week we couldn’t be happier 😁. Stav, Scott, Cam and Dan (and many others!) have gone so far above and beyond to help us (sorry guys for having to move those boxes about 10 times 😬!!)

This was a massive project for us (we had no experience whatsoever) and we couldn’t be prouder of what the team have managed to achieve.

Scott and Stav managed a complex job delivering for us a lot of technology and modern solutions in a small house, while at the same time keeping to budget. They have a great team of specialist tradespersons. During the project we had a number of design amendments, for which which SER found innovative solutions. The whole team was very courteous and Scott and Stav worked extremely well together. Communication was always very good and the project was undertaken during the difficult COVID lockdown. SER Construction have completed a wonderful rear extension for us. It was a complex project on an old house. Stavros, Scott and their team worked hard to ensure work was finished to a very high standard and within budget. The communication was excellent and we were kept fully informed of plans and updated on progress throughout . As we were living onsite during the build, the team were very respectful of our privacy and did their best to minimise any disruption. We are delighted with the completed project and would not hesitate to recommend SER Construction to all.

We have subcontracted Serconstruction to build our rear extension and are pleased with the results. Their quote was very competitive and the process was straight forward finishing the works within the agreed timeframe. The team was excellent, very responsive, hard working and clean. They were great at providing options and advice to challenging design issues and were always happy to change things along the way if needed. Furthermore, they happily sorted out the snags at the end very fast and to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the results and would recommend the team.

I recently used S.E.R Construction to fully refurb my house top to bottom and would highly recommend using their services. They provided a reliable and professional service throughout, with the quality of work top class.

We hired Serconstruction for the completion of a double story side extension with loft conversion . They offered a practical solution for our low roof and successfully completed the conversion within the agreed budget .
